
Coillte part of summer TV series on Ireland's great Tracks & Trails
Coillte is one of the sponsors of the Tracks & Trails series on RTE television this summer - running from 16th July to 13th August, showcasing iconic recreation trails in Ireland with celebrity presenters getting out and enjoying themselves walking and biking.
The series features well known Irish chefs Derry Clarke and Kevin Thornton walking on The Beara Way in West Cork, Diarmuid Gavin cycling in Mayo and Packie Bonner walking in his beautiful Donegal.
Episodes 4 & 5 on the 6th and 13th of August feature RTE presenter Aiden Power and Fiachna O'Braonain, band member of the Hot House Flowers, mountain biking on the Coillte Trails in the Ballyhoura Mountains, on the Limerick Cork border.
Episode 5 will feature snooker player Ken Doherty and Fair City actress Ciara O' Callaghan walking the Dublin Mountains Way.

Coillte and AIB are working in partnership on the development of a native woodland area with both recreational and educational facilities at Carrigeenroe, Co Roscommon, through the AIB 'Add more green' fund.
Coillte are a partner in the PURE Project(Protecting Uplands and Rural Environments), an initiative in Co Wicklow to combat illegal dumping.
